About the Author

Julie Lorch Julie’s first love is the exquisite and enduring city of Philadelphia, where she has lived for most of her life. Her second love is the green Schwinn tandem that barely fits in her apartment, and the art of convincing friends to hop aboard and roll through the city streets. If she’s not cycling, she’s lying in the grass by the Schuylkill or cooking with friends.

Her favorite quotation: “When I see an adult on a bicycle, I do not despair for the future of the human race.” H.G. Wells
